Where do the guitar parts come from?
Some are old and some are new, but the important thing is that they're great quality. This means that there might be a mark or a blemish on a part at times but it all adds to the character. We love to, if we can, re-purpose cheaper parts that might be seen as bad quality, improve the finish on them and make them great (in particular the necks this works well with, not so much the electrics).
I missed out on a past competition draw what can I do?
Unfortunately the nature of what we do is one off guitars so once they've been won and gone to the new owner we can't run that draw again. However we do custom builds so if you want to make something similar and don't mind paying for a custom built guitar, get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
How do I know I can trust this website?
Of course we understand that's a tricky one, and hopefully not something you're too worried about. But if you are hopefully this will help - based in Manningtree in Essex, Foxwood guitars is run by Joe, a trained guitar technician who's been dabbling with guitars for many years. I started foxwood to give myself an outlet for guitar work - I love working with guitars, and to bring high quality guitars to people who might not be able to otherwise afford them. Each competition draw pays for the cost of that guitar, and accessories plus shipping as well as a bit of time spent putting it together (and a few other things like running the website). If you're lucky enough to win one and want your guitar set up a certain way before it's shipped to you, let me know and I can call you to discuss before it goes out, or if you want to chat about guitars or anything else to verify I am who I say I am, send me an email, or a message on instagram and I'll give you a call! Be sure to follow our instagram page for new updates and current raffles - and please share what we do as much as you can!
How do I enter the latest draw?
Head over to the shop tab to purchase an entry, and answer the question. Once the minimum number of entries have been sold, we will then notify you of a date on instagram and hold the draw and announce the winner live on instagram.
Do you accept returns?
All entry places are non-refundable, If you win a draw and are unhappy for any reason then get in touch and we'd be happy to help!
